fun at the park

The other day after Rylee got home from school, we decided to go get some popsicles and head over to the park, and of course I had to bring my camera along :) Rylee was all for posing for me, but Madden just wanted me to leave him alone so he could climb and go down the slides.

Gymnastics......

Yesterday the kiddos had a dress rehearsal for gymnastics, so I snapped a couple of quick shots before we left. They did so good, and I will post some pictures of the actual show on saturday.

maddens bday pics........

I haven't been able to post in awhile, but our computer crashed, so I lost all of my pictures, and my photoshop, but luckily I still had Maddens bday pics I took a few weeks ago still on my camera. My little guy is growing up :( so here are a few of my faves...........

Last night I did Rylee's hair in pin curls for school today, and they turned out sooooo cute and held the curl all day. Her hair doesn't usually curl well, so I think we will be doing this more often! I pulled out my camera to take a few pictures before school, and she started posing and had to put on her sunglasses ha! my little model girl. Love her!!!

Duck Ponds

One of the kids favorite things to do is go to the duck ponds and feed the ducks out by the fairgrounds. We went out there the other day and I was able to snap a few pics of the kiddos feeding the hungry ducks some bread. They had to stand on the bridge though because the ducks come right up to them to get the bread, and my kids aren't so big on animals getting in their personal bubbles :)

family outing

Brandon has been looking for places to explore around here, and has found some pretty cool places we need to visit. The other day after he got off work, we decided to go visit one that was not too far from our house, The CCC Sanchez camp. I guess it was some kind of work program for single young men during the depression, and there where some rock buildings still standing. Really cool.

Madded was more interested in collecting rocks and throwing them than letting me take his picture.

so since i haven't posted in a long time, i thought i would share an up-to-date picture of the kiddos, and what they like to do, so here goes......

RyLeE-

rylee is everything girl, but also my tuff lil tomboy when she wants to be. she has to dress herself, because everything i pick is just not cool. if i do her hair, its undone in a couple of hours if i am lucky, and re-done by my rylee bug the way she wants it. she cannot be found without her lip gloss, but whatever makes her happy :) she loves to help me cook and bake, and is good at folding clothes which is a plus for me, because i hate folding clothes. rylee put together her whole outfit in this picture, including tying her own ribbon sash on, and doing her own hair. i love my rylee suzy-q

MAdDen-

i don't think they come anymore boy than madden....he turns everything into his "GUN" loves playin cowboys with rylee, has to always be wearing his "boots" (they are irrigation boots from his halloween costume, but he loves them) he loves to play outside on his bike, strip down to his diaper (tryin to potty train, but not goin so good) and roll around in the dirt. it sometimes feels pointless to give him a bath, becuase he just ends up dirty five minutes later anyways. his

favorite show is nitro circus, and i am afraid he is going to grow up to be a motocross racer because of his love of motorcycles and daredevil/fear of nothing. i love my little man :)

too funny........

I think Rylee's favorite thing to do is take my camera and take random pictures. Actually they usually turn out pretty good, just weird stuff like the inside of the mailbox etc. Well this happened a couple of months ago, i found my camera with about 25 of these on it. Now if any of you know my sis hannah, and her posing in pictures, you will find this more funny than it already is.......

I'm not really one for tryin out new recipes, cuz i don't know what they are supposed to look like, but her website has step by step instructions with pictures! yay! and you all HAVE to try chocolate sheetcake recipe. it is TO DIE FOR! i made it for brandon's b-day and he has agreed......it's his new fave.

holy crap i'm posting....i know i know

It has been a long time since i have posted........i know. i'm not going to try and catch up or anything, i will just start with halloween. Poor Rylee was sick so we didn't do much trick or treating, and my camera died just after we started so i didn't get many pictures. Rylee was a 50's girl and Madden was a fire fighter......yes his jacket is made out of good ol' duch tape. I thought it would be fun to make his jacket, and no it wasn't but it turned out pretty cool i thought.
